Lyle Ashton Harris showcases “Ghana” African Art comes to the Contemporary World at CRG Gallery in Chelsea, New York City!

African Art is more than just wooden sculptures & NYU-Ghana professor & artist, Lyle Ashton Harris showcases how African art is moving & evolving in the contemporary world. My Alma mater, NYU, continues to make me proud with their efforts in Ghana. Inspiring & exciting to say the least of the campus in Ghana in giving new students an experience that I wish I had available to me during my years at NYU. I guess I had that experience just as a way of life, but it would have been nice to get some credits for living my cultural way of life & birth which so many of my fellow students at the time were so clueless to, so I am happy, hopeful & thankful that we have all evolved since those days. Check this new work by Lyle Ashton Harris titled “Ghana” @ CRG Gallery @ 535 West 22nd Street.,New York, NY 10011-now thru April 3, 2010.
