Oh Africa, When will we ever learn? When will we ever recognize our greatness & the masses who have always risen & benefitted through our demise & separation. When will we ever see that our peril & division is by design. From slavery to colonialism & even in Independence it seems all the African has been taught is to separate from family because a united African family can never be played for a fool to do his oppressor’s bidding. It seems as if by design Africa’s golden eras are designed to be golden for everyone but Africans. Sudan is on the brink of secession & all I can do is shed a tear as yet another African nation shuns the possibility of strength in unity to do for self hoping for some sort of newly manufactured freedom which has failed all those who have taken the same path before them. Separation of Africans have been an ongoing business of imperialism , capitalism, racism & all the isms & skisms that deny Africa a chance at reaching her potential each & every time, year, decade & century.
We as Africans must demand & decide what is best for us & have proper governance based on the African personality not what others have deemed right for Africa. Those that want to see our divide may lure us with money, power, weapons & lies of obtaining true freedom, but we are the ones who truly have the world at our feet at this time in history as the world searches for a new economic frontier where Africa is bountiful in natural resources, oil & most of all people capital. This is our time to finish the work & vision of our freedom fighters & our great leaders of Independence who said “never again” to outside forces who forever wanted to claim their influence, power & demagoguery upon us because they know that through our division they will always be able to conquer. Divide & Conquer is alive & winning & we must no longer be played as fools with blinders on, pretending not to see our truth & reality!
As the saying goes “There is power in numbers” – the more numbers that we lose in separation the less power we have over our own lives as nations & as a continent who continues to suffer at the hands of the same type of Neo-colonialism & its mighty power influence that catalyzed our great African leaders to call for a united states of Africa. As Dr. Kwame Nkrumah said
“We have awakened. We will not sleep anymore. Today, from now on, there is a new African in the world… ready to fight his own battles and show that after all, the black man is capable of managing his own affairs. We are going to demonstrate to the world, to the other nations, that we are prepared to lay our own foundation. Our own African identity…We are going to see that we create our own African personality and identity. We again rededicate ourselves in the struggle to emancipate other countries in Africa; for our independence is meaningless unless it is linked up with the total liberation of the African continent.”
We must emancipate ourselves from our mental slavery because as Bob Marley said “none but ourselves can free our minds”. When will we see & own our worth, our own truth & finally awaken to see the many wolves in sheep’s clothing that come to us saying how they want only the best for us while offering a helping hand of friendship while slapping us with the other as the suckers who they have managed to once again make fools of? When will Africans, African Nations & Africa as a continent say enough is enough & get back on course to realize our full golden era glory sanctified by the blood & souls of our ancestors who suffered so we may one day enjoy our promise land?
This Facebook posting said it perfectly

The suffering, fussing & fighting has gone on for far too long & we owe it to our future generations to have their dreams realized instead of continuously deferred as they suffer from the ills of their fathers who chose not to stand upright as men to defend their future as unified Africans. Africans must recognize our Freedom as Africans first & foremost in our unity!
“Freedom is not something that one people can bestow on another as a gift. Thy claim it as their own and none can keep it from them. We face neither East nor West: We Face Forward ”
“The referendum is part of the 2005 peace deal that ended 21years of war between Sudan’s Muslim-majority north and the mainly Christian and animist south. Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir has pledged to accept the results.” READ MORE
