What the hell is wrong with us as a nation & as humans. Poor, Poor Roman Polanski whose own wife was murdered by Charles Manson’s cult followers & parents murdered in a concentration camp in Auschwitz, yet he feels he should be above the law for his crimes while his idiotic. morally bankrupt hollywood friends & supporters continue defending him by giving him a pass because he is a “so called” genius director who has suffered from the crimes that others committed against people in his life & because a now deceased judge reneged on his free money pass as punishment for his crime. Anyone that can defend Roman Polanski to me has no moral compass. Rape is is Rape! A statutory rape charge amongst teens is a lot different than one against an adult man that was old enough at the time to be the then 13 year old child’s father.

Would he have wanted Charles Manson to get the same mercy he feels he is entitled to since he didn’t technically murder his wife? I am sure if the Nazis that murdered his parents were alive, no matter their current age or the years that have passed his their crimes, he would want them to face charges for their crimes, so why should he expect anything different for himself? He is no better than Charles Manson or those who did Hitler’s dirty work-the only difference is that he didn’t get to a point of murder, which could have easily happened giving drugs to a minor. Why are people defending this man, he RAPED A 13YR OLD CHILD-So sickening! This man could have faced the music years ago & probably served little time, since we as a nation are so sympathetic to rapists & child molesters when they are celebrities. We defended R. Kelly who served no time & just became another repeat offender & now we are defending Polanski & talking about what a rough life he has had & how the system has been unfair to him, while questioning the truthfulness of Mackenzie Phillips drug induced rape/molestation allegations against her father of the Mamas & Poppa’s fame & basically asking for Michael Vick’s head & destruction for dog fighting. We really need to check ourselves as a nation, as countries & most of all as humans in the behaviors we tolerate, especially when it is perpetuated against children, who we are supposed to protect & act as their voice! Are dogs worth more than our young women? We act like they are, yet we bash foreign nations for basically making it acceptable for treating young girls/women like commodity & animals because of cultural & religious differences.

People knew of Mackenzie Phillips being raped/molested by her father, but no one did anything. People knew what R. Kelly was capable of & was doing, but no one did anything & now we have the audacity to defend Roman Polanski for pleading guilty & being convicted of a rape & giving drugs to a 13 year old & running from his conviction for 30 years. We as humans seem to be so clouded mentally by celebrity, money & twisted cultural practices that we justify wrongs with little consciousness of how we are destroying our young people & sending them mixed messages of right & wrong. Rape & molestation of a minor or anyone for that matter is a punishable crime that should not have exception to money , influence or celebrity. Those of you who justify these behaviors by those with money, influence & celebrity should take a moment to think about if it was you or your own children, will there be an exception for you & would you want there to be an exception for the rapist of your children?
