Twice a year, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week hits New York City to create a mash up of fashion madness with real deal fashionistas & wannabes alike waiting for the coveted invitations to the parties & front rows of the elite & cool kids of American Fashion! This year on Feb 13th, there will be a special show dedicated to African Design entitled ThisDay, produced by Arise Magazine , The African Fashion Collective 2009 & the money behind ThisDay, Nduku Obaigbena . Nigerian media mogul, Nduku Obaigbena, is a Donald Trump like media whore for his agenda, the only difference is that he is actually utilizing the media to repair & build Nigeria’s global image instead of just his own.

ThisDay is a showcase of the style & design acumen of African design brought to fashion week’s promenade tents, amongst shows like Yigal Azroul, Charlotte Ronson, Herve Leger by Max Azria, & Carlos Meile.
