African nations need to stop the foolishness if we want to stop being labeled as savages. African nations who can not protect the lives of visitors coming to play a game that brings tourism & economic advantages to a nation should not be rewarded-the world is watching! The games should be cancelled completely in solidarity with Togo -as FIFA has said they will cancel any future games where racial slurs & actions are hurled at players. Murder trumps name calling & throwing of bananas on the field. This is a disgrace on Angola, Angolans, CAF & the game of Football. African nations need to start taking responsibility for their own instability & savage behavior. Enough is enough- South Africa must take heed to this as the world cup will be held on African soil for the first time in history in less than 5 months. It is time we take responsibility on how our nations are viewed locally & globally. If we continue to behave as rabid dogs who have no control over their actions & emotions, who only know how to react in violence at every turn, then we must be put on short leases or put down.
With this sort of behavior why are we as Africans surprised when the world constantly treats us like children who have not developed enough mentally to be in control of their own affairs? I don’t care if this has happened in other nations outside of Africa-we have to start holding ourselves up to a better & much higher standard if we are ever going to be truly freed from the shackles of colonialism & slavery that has reaped havoc on our consistent infighting & patheticness as nations of a continent that seems to always resort to violence against ourselves & others. These murders are a reprehensible stain on Angloa & the continent of Africa. All African nations should stand up against this. Enough is enough & the buck should stop with us- nation by nation in solidarity as a continent whose goal is to redefine our nations & our continent in a new decade of new beginnings & continental growth & pride!
